Microsoft has said that at the end of June it will shut down the KIN development team through integrating it into windows phone 7 units. Verizon wireless also halted the sales of the two devices that formed KIN 1 and KIN 2. Microsoft’s, Kin 1 and 2 arrived on shelves in US via Verizon wireless. The sales of KIN handsets have been very disappointing with less than 10,000 devices being shipped to users during their three months availability period. Low hardware specifications of the 2 handsets might have been a reason for this.
